We are an all-volunteer grassroots group of concerned citizens who strongly oppose the rezoning and high density development requested for 7522 and 7530 East Grand Ave, the location of the now closed The Lot and Local Traveler restaurants, at the intersection of Garland Road, Grand Ave and Gaston Ave - the 3G.

 

The proposed development would change the the current 4 story, 60% land use deed restrictions to 8 story, 60% land use with 320 apartments, 13,600 sq ft of commercial space and 400 parking spaces developed at a traffic intersection that is already overly congested.  A high density development in a neighborhood that is low to medium density.
